The DV-DM4D dimmer is an electronic addressable controller used as part of the DIVISION automation system for smooth dimming of incandescent lamps. Structurally, the controller is a printed circuit board. Connects to the DV-HEAD OMEGA central controller via RS485 interface. The maximum total power of the lamps included in one channel should not exceed 1400 W.
The dimming channel brightness is controlled from the central DV-HEAD OMEGA controller via RS485, as well as offline from a local momentary button connected to the low-current input of the dimmer. Alternately pressing the button causes the DV-DM4D channel to turn on and off smoothly, holding the button allows you to adjust the brightness of the lighting group connected to the DV-DM4D dimmer.
To test and assign an address to each of the 4 UNITs of the DV-DM4D controller in the DIVISION automation system, connect it to a personal computer using a USB / RS485 interface converter and run the DIVISION CONTROLLERS program.
